NEW COVER

My publisher has decided to change the cover of my book, No Place For A Lady. While I loved the first one, this one is equally as beautiful. They wanted the herione to look more like a Southern Belle. Same background, just a different face.

I've recently completed book two in the series and have started on the third book. I'm having so much fun with this! I have two wonderful editors that are a big part of my journey--not to mention my crit buds.

I love all things West and since I don't live there, I may as well be writing about it. There is something about that era in time that tugs on my heart to learn about those pastimes, whether from a western movie or good book.

In my next blog, I will tell you about a new movie coming out that I can't wait to see.

Who said the Western is dead???

Two votes yes in my household for the new cover. We think the lady really looks more like a lady than the first girl. Although they are both beautiful, maybe this new one captures the heroine better. Can't wait to read the book! Keep us updated on the release date!

I like both covers, but I think I like the new one best. It's the hair and the dress I think, while the original looks mischievous. I'm really looking forward to this one.

I'd email you, but I cannot find an email address for you. I'm a Georgia gal from "fer-syth cow-n-tee".

I like the new cover. While the first one was fun, this one is gentle and more feminine, an old time Sourthern Belle. :) I'm very excited about the book! As a Georgia native (Marietta to be persise) I'm interested to see how you captured my state's unique history!

Abby and Cherryblossom, I tickled that you like the cover. I'm very excited about it and hope that you will enjoy reading it as I did writing it. Thanks, y'all for posting.

That's should be I'm tickled. It's been a long day at my house. My office was painted and I spent all day moving things back in and cleaning up! So excuse me if you see typos.

Nothing like seeing your book cover! I have been delighted with the job Spyglass Lane is doing on the Heartsong Presents: Mysteries! titles.

Thanks for stopping by my blog this morning.

The western is alive and well! My book, Gunfight at Grace Gulch, could be called a western mystery. (It's contemporary)

Your new cover is just perfect! I got out my reading glasses to better eye the cowboy and he looks so realistic it's like a photograph! Kudos for you and Revell!! I am holding my breath for my own cover. If it's half as beautiful as yours I'll be one happy southern belle!! I've already pre-ordered your book on Amazon. Bless you!

What a hard choice! I loved the new cover, but it was hard to part with the sassy gal on the first one. I'll have to watch for this one when it releases. If you're short influencers at all, give me a shout! My historical/western romance releases in February, so I understand your excitement! Miralee Ferrell

Oh...and I'll be adding a link on my blog to your blog tomorrow when I have time.

What's the title?

HI Brenda, thanks for the note! My book title is Love Finds You In Last Chance, CA...it's part of the new Summerside Press romance line and mine is a historical with a mystery twist, set in the old west in 1877. I have a short blurb and the cover posted on my web site. www.miraleeferrell.com Thanks for asking! Miralee
