UPCOMIMG BOOK RELEASE and AUDIO TOO!

Trusting Grace is less than a month and a half from releasing! This was an fun book to write and I believe readers will enjoy reading how Grace Bidwell handles all that life throws her. The title is a play on her name as you can probably guess. We can use all the grace that God so generously provides. Agree?

Other good news to share--the audio rights have been purchased for all three books in the Virtues and Vices series! I received a sample clip of the audio and I love the reader's voice. If I can figure out how to share it on my blog, I will but you can listen to a sample on my Maggie Facebook Author page. Many have asked me if my books would ever be on audio so this news made me very happy. Here's the link if you like to listen. https://www.facebook.com/MaggieBrendan/

Our little Pepper (Maltipoo) is nearly a year old now and as sweet as can be. As a Christmas gift, our daughter gave us manner training for her and Pepper is a quick learner. At least the hard part of puppy training is over! :)

I hope you'll be reserving you copy of the new book. No Place for a Lady is a free ebook currently if you've not read. Here are those links:

SPRING FEVER AND GIVEAWAY

My Dear Readers,

With spring bursting out in its usual Atlanta fashion, I'm reminded of Easter, new births, and just plain ole spring fever. Do you get it too? I find this is one of the hardest times for me to stay indoors parked in front of my computer writing...and you know how I love to write. But spring calls to me, to clean out, spruce up and beautify surroundings or plant annuals. But I have to prioritize my work and chores. So I write lists and try not to stray from the immediate things I have to do between the things I'd like to indulged in instead.

I do have a title for my new booking releasing in January 2014 for the series Virtues and Vices of the Old West. Book one will be entitled The Trouble with Patience. It really does suit the storyline of a  x-vigilante sheriff coming to grips with his past and a virtuous woman who is draw to him despite their obvious differences and personalities. Forgiveness is the key word here and as I think about it, all my books are based on this theme in one way or another. This story was a blast to write, and I've already started on book two of the series.

With that in mind, I'd like to give away The Book Lover's Journal. If you're an avid reader who likes to make notes of favorite books you've read, then this is perfect for you! Write and tell me what's you're favorite thing to do when springtime rolls around. Are you bursting with energy or a slug that needs a few extra hours of sleep and would rather be reading? We'll select a winner but you must subscribe or be a subscriber to my blog to be entered. It's just that simple. So hop right in like the Easter bunny and share your thoughts.

I hope you have a blessed Easter Sunday and celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord who gave His life so that we should have life everlasting.Hallelujah, He is Risen, He is Risen indeed!

I'll be looking forward to reading your answers. Please share your friends that No Place for a Lady is a free Kindle download for a period of time. It continues to be one of my well-loved stories. Here's the link. http://tinyurl.com/kkva4ep.

God bless you and keep you until next time!

DEEPLY DEVOTED IN BOOKSTORES & FREE KINDLE & NOOK DOWLOAD FOR NO PLACE FOR A LADY

My first book in The Blue Willow Brides has been released! September 1st, Deeply Devoted landed in the bookstores and online. I'm already receiving reader feedback. One reader wroter:

"You employ some really descriptive and metaphoric language which I love.... My favorites are- He was "deliciously handsome", "stared into the dark liquid", "love was spilling over into her heart", "you wear the dirt well", "she hugged the secret to herself", "the filtered sunlight kising its bank and overhanging trees", and the outdoor smell kissed the laundry with a fresh fragrance all its own". These really stirred my senses.

I felt your intimacy with God weaved throughout the book. You really showed how the love between Peter and Cath was founded by their faith in God and his purpose for them and others in their lives and how love endured through the strength of their faith."

Another reader read until 1:30 in the morning to finish. This is what an author loves to hear. :)

I'll hope you'll pick up a copy at your favorite bookstore, Amazon or Christianbook.com. You'll find the links on the side-bar. No Place For a Lady is a free download right now on Kindle and Nook if you haven't read it. Click here: http://tiny.cc/bhzim or here http://tiny.cc/1nh98.

I plan to have a give a way soon connected with Blue Willow Dishes so stay tuned. I've been a little bit out of step lately after a bad fall, a broken bone in my foot, sprained ankle and badly sprained hand. I had more than 2 months of therapy eating up my time while I was completing book 2 in this series. To say I was a bit overwhelmed would be an understatement. Now you know why I've been behind on blogging, but I hope to get back on track.

Georgia is dealing with rain and tornado warnings today from the now tropical storm Lee. So it's been an unevental Labor Day. Hope you have sunshine and barbeque for Labor Day wherever you are. As for me--I have a big pot of Camillia Red Beans and Andouille sausage simmering. Mmm...good!
